Directions to Campgrounds in Kalkaska, MI
From Oak Park:
1) Start on the I-696 East for about 3 1/3 Miles.
2) Merge onto the I-75 (exit 18) North towards Flint (Stay on the I-75 for about 195 Miles).
3) Exit on the LEFT - exit 254, towards Downtown Grayling/Traverse City. Stay on that street for about a mile and a half untill an intersection. (You will notice strip malls to your sides).
4) Turn left to the M-72 (if you see signs to M-93, stay on the M-72). Stay on there for about 12 Miles. Watch out for a small yellow sign under a traffic sign that says "Lake Valley Road".
5) Make a Right on Lake Valley Road (dirt road) for about 2 Miles.
6) Make a Right on THE SECOND TURN with a sign to "Camp Gan Israel (North entrance)" (the first sign heads to the "other side" of camp). (The turn to the right is as the Lake Valley Road turns left.)
7) Stay straight on the roads (no turn). When you see trailers and bunks and sports fields with people walking around (watch out for them...), you know you arrived...

1) Start out going on Merriman Rd. towards I-275 North.
2) Merge onto the I-275 North and stay for approx. 25 Miles.
3) Merge onto the I-96 West and stay for approx. 20 Miles.
4) Merge onto US-23 North and stay for approx. 80 Miles.
6) Merge onto the I-75 North (Stay on the I-75 for about 120 Miles).
