Gan Yisroel Detroit is excited to announce that registration for summer 5783 is NOW open!

GIRLS DATES:
Session 1 / Teen Camp
Tuesday, June 27 / Tammuz 8 – Monday, July 24 / Av 6
Session 2
Tuesday, July 25 / Av 7 – Monday, August 21 / Elul 4

Girls’ registration will remain open until Jan. 13, so we recommend completing registration as soon as possible.

BOYS & BMD DATES:

Announcing: 10th Grade Girls Traveling Camp

We are proud to launch for the first time a Traveling Camp for girls completing 10th Grade.

The program was created due to great demand and many requests for a Chasidishe and fun program for High School girls of this age.

This program will be based out of our campsite in Kalkaska, Michigan. The girls will be traveling throughout scenic Northern Michigan, enjoying the beautiful sights in the area, and staying in different resorts.

The camp will also be enjoying outdoor sports and trips in the area and will be returning to our campgrounds every few days.

Accompanying the camp will be a team of dedicated staff members as well as different Shluchim alternating during the trip. The Shluchim will be providing inspiration, learning experiences, and Farbrengens.

Trips include kayaking through Picture Rocks, water activities in Mackinaw Island, horseback riding in Marquette, a Shabbaton in Charlevoix, and much more.

26 girls are already signed up, with a capacity of 45.

Teen Camp is 2nd Month!

Boruch Hashem since opening in 2018 Teen Camp gets bigger and better every year.

Since registration opened for this summer we saw that there is no way we will be able to accept even half of the girls that enrolled, not even if we limit it to returning campers.

We dread having to turn away so many girls. So we came up with the only solution that will enable us to accommodate the demand.

Teen Camp is moving to the second month of camp!

The new dates are July 28 – August 23. These dates might change by a day or two as we coordinate with other camps and schools.

This way Teen Camp will have the entire camp grounds, and we can accept many more campers.

This change does not affect the younger division. Only Teen Camp.

Looking forward to another amazing summer!

Exciting New Changes!

We are proud to announce exciting changes in Gan Yisroel!

With boys camp having 2 full sessions now, we have decided to move the camp to a new location, where they won’t have to move during the summer.

We are looking at a few different locations in Northern Michigan, that can accommodate our b”h growing camp for the full 8 weeks.

With this move we are also able to change the dates to match the yeshivas and schools.

The new dates are:
First session: Tuesday, June 22 (12 Tammuz) – Tuesday, July 20 (11 Av)
Second session: Tuesday, July 20 (11 Av) – Monday, Aug. 16 (8 Elul)

We are looking forward to another exciting and successful summer!
