As this is a very fluid situation, as soon as we have the guidelines from the State Licensing /County Health Department we will let you know. Rest assured that we will be running a safe and smooth summer IYH, as we did last summer.
Scholarships are given on a case by case basis. If you would like to request a scholarship, make sure to fill the scholarship form during the registration process.
Additionally, there is a $200 for those who are approved for the Summer Food Service Program.
Lunch Program Form will be available after camper has been accepted.
Camp Gan Yisroel Detroit staff work year-round to plan for a successful, fun and safe summer. Our refund policy reflects the fact that a significant portion of our expenses are incurred well before summer camp begins. As a non-profit, Camp Gan Yisroel Detroit relies on tuition fees to fund our year-round operations.
All payment installments made are not refundable unless your scholarship application was not accepted. To be refunded you must decline the scholarship offer within 7 days of receiving notification about your scholarship.
If your child is injured prior to camp and your child does not attend camp at all, then a doctor’s letter attesting to such injury (that prohibits the child from attending camp) must be sent by registered mail to the Registration Committee, with a request for refund of camp fees. The maximum amount refundable under this clause shall not exceed 66% of all camp fees due (not all camp fees paid up to that point). The decision of the Registration Committee in all refund matters is final.
No refund will be given in the instance where a camper arrives late to camp or leaves earlier than camp ends.
In the event of a refund for any reason, if you pay with a cc the 3% is excluded from any possible refund.

If your child is celebrating a Bas Mitzvah or Hanachas Tefillin or Bar Mitzvha, please reach out to appropriate division. Contact page.
Campers will be calling home 2 times during the course of camp this summer. You will be receiving an email a day before the call date so you can be prepared to take the call.
Please note that there will not be visiting day this year in camp. Additionally, nobody would be able to come into campgrounds while camp is in session.
